Nokia is simply known as a manufacturer of mobile phones, but the Finnish electronics company is also working with software. One of her latest creations is the social network Pulse; a private way of texts and pictures send each taking an important role for locations. Pulse remains, however, not restricted to the Windows Phone 7-Nokia platform where it has gone into the sea. The application also comes to the iPhone and Android phones.
Pulse fills a (small) gap between Facebook and WhatsApp. You divide your friends, family and acquaintances in different groups in Pulse. These groups remain permanently and leave you standing between texts, pictures and videos, send each other. For each message you send a location and you can also immediately find a place. For example if you are looking for a pizzeria in Arnhem, set the Pulse results found for you on a map. That card is shared with the other group users. The function is provided by NAVTEQ, the producer of navigation software that Nokia recently bought. Except on the phone, you can Pulse also monitor and update from a website.
