U.S. man comes in with passport scan on iPhone



Anyone who has ever been in the U.S., knows how annoying customs checks can be. While you want to come just a week shopping, does the official in the booth that you have nefarious plans. But it can be easier. The Canadian photographer and videomaker Martin Reisch, using a scan of his passport at the border between Canada and the U.S. to pass. Reisch was visiting friends in Vermont, but realized too late that he had left his passport at home.






Luckily he had his iPhone still a scanned version of his passport and that was enough. Politicians meddle with it now, because according to MP Brian Masse is disturbing that a scanned copy of a passport is enough. Indeed, such a copy can be easily edited and distorted.
