Samsung is making strong quarter thanks to rising smartphone sales


Samsung in the fourth quarter of 2011 turned a good quarter. The profit amounted to 3.5 billion euros, up 22 percent from the previous quarter. Especially the growing smartphone sales resulted in higher profits in other divisions such as televisions and chips went back revenues.
