Samsung has announced a new Galaxy S phone. The Galaxy S Advance has a 4 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 800 × 480. It runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread that Samsung has updated its TouchWiz software layer. The handset has a 1 GHz dual core processor and 768 MB of RAM. There is a 5 megapixel camera on board. The Galaxy S Advance has carries the model number GT-I9070 and hence the device under the Samsung Galaxy S II positioned.
The Samsung Galaxy S Advance comes with Android 2.3 is complemented by Samsung's own apps like the Music Hub and Game Hub. Also, Polaris and Find My Office Mobile included. Navigation is via A-GPS. To connect to the Internet can be used Wi-Fi a / b / g / n or mobile via HSDPA at speeds of 14.4 Mbps. With the 5 megapixel at the back it is possible to shoot 720p HD video. There is a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front to participate in video calling.
The Samsung Galaxy S Advance is available in the second quarter. The MSRP of the device is 469 euros. The handset comes with 8 or 16 GB internal memory, expandable with optionally a MicroSD card.
