Polaroid camera combines Android smartphone # CES2012


The emergence of smart phones has meant that fewer cameras are sold loose. "If we can not beat them then we'd better join them", the renowned camera maker Polaroid might have thought. At the Consumer Electronics Show CES in Las Vegas, the company has a point-and-shoot camera show with a built-in Android smartphone. The device has a 16 megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom and can shoot 720p HD video. It runs on an outdated version of Android.





Which version of Google's mobile operating system is included is not clear, but thought to Android 2.2 Froyo looking at the icons and the notification bar. The back of the Polaroid SC1630 Smart Camera is a 3.2 inch touchscreen. What is the resolution and what's inside CPU is not yet known. However, the internal memory of 512 MB can be expanded with a MicroSD card. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are also included so you can upload photographs directly.
