HTC profit drops for first time in two years


HTC has for the first time in many lower gains than the previous quarter. The past two years the Taiwanese company posted record profits in record profits, but there seems to have come to an end. The company knew in the fourth quarter of 2011 approximately 280 million euro gains, down 25.5 percent from the same period one year earlier. Especially the rise of Samsung and Apple seems to be detrimental to the growth of HTC.







In the past quarter saw HTC profits sharply, sales fell by only 2.5 percent. The past three months, HTC has not released new phones too. Including the HTC Sensation XL and XE HTC Sensation came on the market, but these are not so different from the original HTC Sensation . Especially for the ladies introduced the Taiwanese manufacturer HTC Rhyme with luminous notification box called the Charm.


HTC is expected that the coming period, a new range of devices will be deployed. This will be Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, adapted to be fitted with HTC Sense. Because it takes some time to implement the software layer is yet to be seen on HTC phones. Next HTC Android phones will also devices with Windows Phone on the market.
