Facebook has a press conference in San Francisco 60 new apps for the Facebook timeline shown. By renewing the Open Graph and adding "Facebook Gestures', these apps can automatically share news on your Facebook timeline.
Facebook Open Graph, Timeline apps and Gestures
The introduction of the new Open Graph in September, offers more than just the new Facebook Gestures like 'Like', 'Listen' and 'Share' . The new Open Graph is updated at three important points:
- Apps do not need permission every time news to share on your Timeline. From now on Facebook shows what rights the application need and what information is shared. As a user you agree, there is no need here for permission to continue geven./li>
- Updates in the new Open Graph are shown in the Ticker Facebook - The Facebook friends Ticker is available from 100 - and are only displayed in the News when they are important.
- Users can share experiences, like listening to music. Friends of the user can listen to the music right away by pressing the 'Listen' in Facebook Ticker.
The 60 new Timeline apps are immediately available, which are of particular interest as RunKeeper , Zynga , eBay and Foursquare . Users of these new Facebook applications themselves can choose which information is shared and with whom they shared.
