Zephyr: Multitasking gestures on the iOS MeeGo style (jailbreak)



Paul Grant (aka @ chpwn ) has released a tweak that you can use multitasking gestures in a way that is inspired by the gestures on the iPhone, MeeGo (known from the Nokia N9) and a concept video of Max Drake. Previously, Paul Grant also responsible for, among other ProSwitcher , which inspired by Palm OS multitasking to iOS was charged.

Currently Zephyr adds two gestures to create a new multitasking experience for users with a jailbreak possible. Through from the bottom of the screen up to Swype displays the multitasking bar Apple, without the need for the Home button needs to be used. Through from the side of the screen toward the center of the screen Swype can quickly be switched to another application. According to Paul Grant, this method is better than activating the iPhone multitasking gestures on the iPhone, because there used to be four fingers on the small screen. Developer Steve Troughton-Smith also is excited and called the previous tweak " the * coolest * IOS jailbreak tweak from @ chpwn ".

iPhone and iPhone 4S 4 win 800 Nokia Lumia in browser benchmark tests

The iPhone 4 is no longer the latest smartphone on the market. That honor is currently the Nokia 800 Lumia, a device that receives much attention because it means the return of Nokia. To prove that the browser in the Lumia 800 faster than that of the iPhone 359gsm conducted several benchmark tests. The testers compared the Nokia Lumia Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) with an iPhone 4 with IOS 4.3 and an iPhone 4S with iOS 5. It was found that the iPhone still the best score. All three of them came through the Acid3 browser test, but in the SunSpider, Browser and Mark SunSpider test scored above the iPhone 4S a lot better than the Nokia. Last April 9 was further claimed that IE for Windows Phone much faster than would be the mobile version of Safari. But in these tests, the iPhone wins even more narrowly 4 of Lumia. In a similar test in October , conducted by the website Slash Gear won the iPhone already.
