Samsung accuses Apple of four new patent violations








Samsung has once again Apple sued for four new patent violations. The four patents were added to an already pending case in Germany. Samsung has also selected two additional law firms. The case is in Mannheim, where Apple also suing Samsung over six patents. The newly added patents relate to smileys and converting text to speech on a mobile phone. The latter could be related with Siri, with a voice recognition software recognizes and responds with an answer that is read aloud.

Incidentally, Samsung attracts one of the earlier charges, namely on the use of Qualcomm baseband chip, used in the iPhone 4S . The new Samsung claims that it wants to work were submitted by law firms and Quinn Emanuel Krieger Mes & Graf von der Groeben. Previously worked only with Samsung Rospatt Otten Pross.
With the relevant European patents are two pieces that capture the essence of mobile phones include:
