"Mobile Web sites is a tragedy for web designers"


Mid to late 90's it was a drama to develop websites. We sat in the middle of the browser wars, CSS did not exist and standardization was even less thought. Developer Jeffrey Zeldman thinks that we are in the same situation with mobile websites. You as a developer facing more and more mobile devices and the world of mobile browsers becoming more fragmented. How we are going to solve as web developers is still unclear.




Even the direction we will go, is still under discussion. The result: poor user experience, where web designers can do nothing about. They had to choose between the lesser evil and had to compromise.
