iOS game update: Ski Jumping 12, Combat Arms: Zombies and final Game of the Week

In a few hours this year, the door finally locked. Then let Apple for the rest of the year no new app, game, or more to update in the App Store. This automatically means that this is the last iOS game update of the year. Between now and the launch of the daily section on April 19, 2011 , we have thousands of games for the iPhone and iPod touch, along come and play hundreds. We close the year off proper and slightly inscrutable, with Combat Arms: Zombies, Ski Jumping and 12 free play ... Sims as Game of the Week.

Because they keep coming: Combat Arms: Zombies

The experts predicted that the year 2011 of the zombies in games would be: chapeau. You have not so much been right on the major platforms like the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, but more so on the iPhone and iPod touch. There is really no day goes by without a new zombie game in the App Store appears, and most can already write off according to the screenshots. Reflex from yesterday so we spent absolutely no attention to Combat Arms: Zombies, but fortunately a reader pointed out that this game really worth it. This is because a first-person shooter, a 3D shooter that through the eyes of the protagonist looks so. And not even the slightest way. Combat Arms runs on the continued impressive Unreal Engine 3 that makes the action in the game fluent and well being imaged. The challenge you have in mind is natural to guess: while survival hurdle after hurdle zombies coming your way. It is similar to the recently released Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies, but here you do the roads where the zombies came to be not close to hammering. In Combat Arms, you shoot mostly heads, shooting heads and shooting heads. In the beginning every time you get to that trick and you have to practice, as shown below, quite a distance from the zombies to shoot down. Even as it feels like cheating ... but you contraception: that feeling is quickly ends when for the first time a series of serious zombie comes at you walk. The scum that shoot poison or explode in your face, that work. Combat Arms: Zombies is a nice addition if you have not tired of zombies. Or zombies as you shoot her great finds.

Balancing and jumping: Ski Jumping 12

Have you ever played a good set of winter games? Yeah, maybe you laughed at Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games for the Wii, but the winter games are often buggy serious manner. That's because they want to work too much sports suits with the same gameplay and often just do not like enough. Ski Jumping 12 focuses on only one element (fair voice, "Can you guess what what what?") And is optimized for a decent price that opposite may be: 79 cents. Ski Jumping 12 course focuses on the ski jump of the ramp (always a winner! ") And does so with amazing beautiful and attractive images. But it is all about the gameplay, which is wider than you might think for this limited concept. Because you can participate in short, separate challenges, but also in tournaments and the World. There are 20 scenes in which you zoom along the ramp based on real race locations. In addition, the game online leaderboards and three different control schemes to stay balanced on the shelves. That is the biggest challenge during the trip: an optimal balance to maintain speed. It can control one or pookjes tilt the screen. Green, white and red indicators on the side show you how right on stage. All that remains is the jump so you need timing you to make up air. Ski Jumping 12-opt all that wonderful feeling of the rapid decline and float through the air, and does so with aplomb.

Game of the Week: The Sims FreePlay
We finish the last game update iOS of the year with a final, special Game of the Week of the year. Especially because its free people-Managament game actually came out last week. When we immersed ourselves fully in Grand Theft Auto 3 and action game that became Game of the Week. Only this week, we're good to Sims freeplay and it was not long before it appeared that the condition of the Game of the Week meeting, we can highly recommend it. FreePlay is a freemium version of The Sims, a village in which you build up to 16 residents. Who these people are, you're absolutely in your hands. You can make the characters, they provide a name and a personality. As you various missions on offer as 'give a party "or" bake bread for sale', expand the meantime your village, you cause more and more interaction between people and send them to work, put them in the shower to maintain their health and let them grow crops to make money. The big reward in return is that you are the houses of the inhabitants at their lovers to rebuilding and redecorating. There are dozens of walls, floors and furniture for every room of the house is finished and as you continue playing, even the expensive refrigerators, coffee machines and plants suddenly quite affordable. The management of the life ofrandom charactersyour friends by name in your palm is highly addictive. Simultaneously, The Sims freeplay freemium at its best. You can grow crops with, but the game insists you're not as fast as possible out of your garden to pick. And if you want, you can invest tons of money into virtual money for your Sims, but without virtual money can do anything in free play. The freemium games which we consider still some virtual money to buy the makers for their game that we play are the best. And that makes The Sims a freeplay game worthy of the final week of the year. Expect next week iPhoneclub have an overview of the 10 best games of 2011 and now: next year!
