Many people were already waiting for months, but now the new Facebook timeline available to all users. The timeline is a rigorous redesign of the current Facebook page. But what can you do with it?
The timeline is introduced at the F8 conference in September 2011 and comes with a new tool: the 'Log Activity. It allows users to determine what the timeline is displayed. You can get status updates 'promote', hide or remove it entirely.
Criticism :
Like all great Facebook redesigns, Timeline was subject to much criticism. Some users were concerned about the request of Facebook users to share more personal information. The fact that the timeline this personal information easily accessible, did the necessary controversy.
Seven day grace period :
The good news is that Facebook users like you seven days to give time to assess any changes and decide whether you want other users to see your information. But, once you've upgraded your profile to Timeline, go after these seven days the new timeline event live.

It is still unknown when the Facebook timeline for new businesses (fan pages) will introduce, but it's a development worth keeping an eye on.
