Blue Wahoo Fitness HR: world's first Bluetooth Smart Heart Rate


A few days ago we wrote about cardio mapper , an iPhone app that supports the latest Bluetooth Smart devices. But you have a little app if you do not have a matching smart heart rate monitor. Wahoo Fitness has now announced a heart rate monitor. It is the first equipped with a Bluetooth smart label , the marketing name for Bluetooth 4.0. The iPhone 4S is the first phone that is suited for it. So that will be running a compatible app on your iPhone and the Blue Wahoo Fitness HR around your chest.





The new Bluetooth protocol consumes much less energy, allowing your iPhone and the accessory such as a heart rate monitor, blood pressure or other sports or health tool, much longer. In January at CES 2012 in Las Vegas, the Blue Wahoo Fitness HR are first shown. From January, the Wahoo-heart rate also immediately on sale for $ 79.99 . The necessary apps are already available in the App Store: MapMyFitness, RunKeeper, 321Run, Runmeter and MotionX. For carrying your iPhone sells Wahoo also a sports armband, but you can try a sports armband use your favorite brand.
