Apple earlier this week after it succeeded in a patent battle to win by HTC , the company has a new patent pending. This patent describes how a smartphone user when making a call one app can open and use without the connection is lost. This has been the introduction of multitasking in iOS already possible, but patent describes a special menu in the phone screen from where you can change to apps.
In Apple's patent describes how a user can press a button or icon to a menu during a call with different app icons to bring out. By an app from this screen tap would be open, then an icon appears on the screen for you to bring back to the phone.
The idea looks very reminiscent of the multi-task bar already on the iPhone to find. This not only appears during the call immediately, but once you get twice the home button. The key to your back to a conversation while using an app is already in iOS: this is the big green bar at the top.
The patent seems Android phones that allow you to multitask while talking is not necessarily an impediment to. CBS describes how the patent, however, causes other smartphones by the patent on a less elegant way to implement the functionality. Using a special bar to this from the phone to the patent would be granted only to Apple.
