Apple is working on battery that lasts for weeks


It is one of the biggest annoyances of phone users: a battery that is empty too fast. In a poll we just by announcing the iPhone 4S organized, it appeared even the most desirable feature in the new iPhone : 33% of our readers would prefer a better battery. In second place was a larger screen (27%) and third place a dual-core processor (only 12%!). It is clear: battery life is a hot topic, but all indications are that Apple is working with it. In two recently published patent application describes how batteries can be developed for MacBooks and iOS devices that last for weeks.
