Apple appealed against 900,000 euro fine in case warranty Italy



Apple is the penalty they were in Italy contest. The Italian competition authority had imposed the fine on Apple , because they were misleading, false guarantee schemes to consumers. Apple has now responded to the decision and a response to The Register announced that they appeal.








The company believes that they have complied with the Italian law. The case revolved around the fact that Apple only one year guarantee on electronics products, while, according to Italian law two years should be offered. Also, Apple was a little too eager to recommend AppleCare people, without having to point out that there is a greater guarantee. At least that's the position of the Italian authorities. Apple Sales International, Apple and Apple Retail Italia Italia would have been guilty of misleading consumers about their rights.
