We thought it was one of the most successful Android tablet of 2011: The Acer Iconia Tab A500 . But with sales still will not succeed at Acer. Yet that is no reason for Acer to withdraw from the tablet business. Acer founder Stan Shih has this weekend in a reaction said that he expects tablets are here to stay. Acer is therefore not going to stop tablets, simply because it is currently a bit unlucky.

Acer is planning to cut in the PC product line, reducing overlap and it is easier to remain competitive. Instead of pursuing budget Acer products will focus more on quality.
